Terms of sale and use

1. Who we are, and what these terms cover

PeopleWant is a service of AI4Docs, SAS (société par actions simplifiée) with a share capital of €2,000, 941 484 537 R.C.S. Paris (registered 3 March 2025), EU VAT FR57941484537, registered office 60 rue François Ier, 75008 Paris, France, email hello@peoplewant.app, phone +33 6 81 12 56 24 (“we”, the “provider”). These terms apply, without restriction, to every subscription sold on peoplewant.app to a customer, consumer or professional. They are available at any time on the site, prevail over any other document, and are accepted by ticking the box provided before the order. Unless proven otherwise, the data recorded in our systems and in Stripe's are proof of the transactions concluded with you. See also the legal notice and the privacy policy.

2. The service

PeopleWant reads public conversations through the official interfaces of the platforms it covers, identifies problems that several independent people describe, and publishes for each one a summary, scores, the supporting excerpts with links to their sources, a possible small product and reasons not to build it. The whole process is automated.

The service is market information. It is not financial, legal or investment advice, and we do not guarantee that an opportunity is complete, still current, or commercially viable. The number of “conversations found” is a lower bound on the sources we cover. Decisions you take from it are yours.

3. Account

You need an account, created with a sign-in link sent by email or with a GitHub or Google account. You must be at least 18 and provide an email address you control. An account is personal: one person per account. Keep access to your mailbox secure, since it gives access to your account.

4. Plans and prices

• PeopleWant: the global radar, every opportunity with all of its evidence, market trends, three active custom radars and an email when a custom radar finds a match. Billed for one week (US$19), one month (US$49) or one year (US$199), at your choice.

Prices are in US dollars and include taxes: the amount shown is the amount charged. For customers in the European Union, VAT at the rate of your country is included in that amount and shown on your invoice; outside the EU no VAT applies. We may change prices for future billing periods with at least 30 days’ notice by email; you can cancel before the new price applies.

5. Payment, renewal and cancellation

Payment is handled by Stripe; we never see or store your card number. Subscriptions are billed in advance for the period chosen (week, month or year) and renew automatically for the same period until cancelled. You can cancel at any time from your account, in two clicks, through the billing portal: access continues until the end of the period already paid, and no further payment is taken. If a payment fails, we retry for a few days, then suspend paid access. A payment is final only once the funds are actually received; we may refuse an order from a customer with whom a previous payment is in dispute.

Tacit renewal (article L.215-1 of the French Consumer Code). For a yearly plan, we inform you by email, at the earliest three months and at the latest one month before the end of the period, that you may decline the renewal, and of the deadline to do so. If that notice is not sent, you may terminate the contract free of charge at any time after the renewal date, and any amount paid after the last renewal is refunded within thirty days, less the part corresponding to the service already provided. Weekly and monthly plans renew for the same short period and can be cancelled at any time from your account.

6. Refund within 7 days (monthly and yearly plans)

There is no free trial. Instead, if you subscribed for one month or one year and PeopleWant is not for you, write to hello@peoplewant.app within 7 days of your first payment and we refund it in full, no questions asked. This applies once per customer. The one-week plan is the way to try the service: it is not refundable, except where the law requires it.

7. Right of withdrawal (consumers in the EU)

If you subscribe as a consumer, you have 14 days to withdraw from a distance contract. Because access to the service starts immediately, you are asked at checkout to expressly request immediate performance and to acknowledge that you lose your right of withdrawal once the service has been fully performed. If you withdraw within 14 days after having asked for immediate performance, we may retain an amount proportional to the service provided up to that point. To withdraw, send an unambiguous statement to hello@peoplewant.app, or the form below. We refund within 14 days of receiving it. Our 7-day refund (section 6, monthly and yearly plans) applies in addition and is usually simpler.

8. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• share your account, or resell, sublicense or republish the content of the service;
• extract the database systematically (scraping, bulk export, automated collection);
• use the service to contact, harass or profile the authors of the quoted conversations;
• attempt to bypass access controls, or disrupt the service.

You may of course use what you learn to build and sell your own products. We may suspend an account that breaches these rules, after notice where the breach can be remedied.

9. Custom radars

The text of your custom radars is yours and stays confidential. It is processed by our systems and by the artificial-intelligence providers listed in the privacy policy, to rank opportunities for you and to look for public conversations on the same themes. The conversations found that way join the radar available to every subscriber; your brief itself is never shown to anyone nor attached to them. Do not put personal data or secrets in a radar description.

10. Intellectual property and third-party content

The service, its scores and analyses belong to AI4Docs; your subscription gives you a personal, non-transferable right to use them for your own business decisions. Quoted excerpts belong to their authors and remain subject to the terms of the platforms where they were published; we show them as short quotations with a link to the original, and remove them on request or when they disappear from the source.

11. Availability

We aim for a continuously available service but do not guarantee it: sources may change their access rules, and maintenance or incidents may interrupt the service. Opportunities can be downgraded or withdrawn when their evidence changes. An interruption longer than 72 consecutive hours entitles you, on request, to a pro-rata refund of the period affected.

12. Liability

We are liable for direct and foreseeable damage caused by our breach of these terms. To the extent permitted by law, and for professional customers, our total liability is limited to the amounts you paid during the 12 months preceding the claim, and we are not liable for loss of profit, loss of opportunity or business decisions taken on the basis of the service. Nothing here limits the statutory rights of consumers, including the legal guarantee of conformity for digital services.

13. Personal data

We process your personal data as described in the privacy policy.

14. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. For changes that affect your rights, we inform subscribers by email at least 30 days in advance; continuing to use the service after that date means you accept the new terms, and you may cancel before it.

15. Law, complaints and disputes

These terms are governed by French law. Write to hello@peoplewant.app first: most issues are solved within a few days. If you are a consumer and we have not resolved your complaint, you may refer it free of charge to our consumer mediator, the mediation scheme we designate (in the process of being appointed; the name and contact will be published here). These terms are written in English for an international audience; in case of dispute the French law and courts apply as stated here. Consumers keep the protection of the mandatory laws of their country of residence and may bring proceedings before their local courts. For professional customers, the courts of Paris have exclusive jurisdiction.
